School Resource/DARE

The School Resource Officer unit consists of 6 Deputies who are assigned to the schools in the county. These Deputies have received specialized training in working in a school environment. This training includes “bridging the gap” and Active Shooter. This unit also includes 2 Dare officers that provide a special learning opportunity to students in 5^th grade in all schools that are applicable.
